I like the story behind how the name Angel’s Share came about to this gorgeous series. Here is an excerpt from their site, “The term “Angel’s Share” is used in the wine making process…when the wine ages for long periods of time, some of it will evaporate from the barrel….belief that the guardian angels that watch over the wine, sample it and give their blessings.” While the company was saving a batch of tobacco leaves for their 100 anniversary since the late 40’s and 50’s, much was lost due to fire in 2012. Hence came the series of Angel’s Share, where although much had been lost, blessing was given by the Angels for their future endeavour.
The cigar doesn’t waste much time and brings out a chocolatey flavor from start with woodsy undertone. Midway, it was like eating a sweet tasty cake that has peppery bite on the tongue. Every puff of the aromatic cigar, it ingrains deeper impression how remarkable the Angel’s Share cigar is.
