During my trip to U.S.A., I took the opportunities to try non-Cuban cigars. More importantly was to enjoy the comfort each venue had to offer. Such smoking venues are getting rarer by the day, especially in country like Singapore where no indoor smoking is allowed by law. It is a pure luxury to plop down in a comfy leather sofa, enjoy a cold drink while puffing away in an air-conditioned room. Each of these venues are great in their own unique ways and are listed below based on chronological order of visit.
Casa Fuente is located inside The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. It offers mainly Arturo Fuente cigars and some special rolls for Casa Fuente by Arturo Fuente. The selection of Arturo Fuente is by far one of the most complete I’d seen. The place offers a well stocked bar with a laid back atmosphere. Unfortunately I did not get to sit down and enjoy a puff.
The V Cut Cigar Lounge is a great place to chill and enjoy a cigar, located by Beverly Hills, Los Angeles. The walk in humidor offers a wide selection of cigars, and the prices are reasonable. This place doesn’t sell any drinks, but you can get some from the V Cafe a couple stores down. I was told they have live band performance too. Parking can be a hassle.
Visited 3 cigar lounges in New York, and Cigar Inn was my favorite place of all. They have a huge selection of cigars to choose from their walk in humidor. Staffs were knowledgeable and helpful. When the place gets busy and you can’t get a seat? They will plunk down fold up chairs and ashtray to make you feel right at home. You can BOYB or purchase from the store beside them, which make this place a paradise for cigar lovers. I’d love to return soon.
Club Macanudo is a posh looking place that is open to the public. The setting is like a private club, suitable for small gathering and business conversation. Be mindful of your attire as they don’t allow shorts or flipflop. They don’t have a walk in humidor like previous places I visited. Instead they have a menu a huge list of exquisite cigars on the pricier range.
The Carnegie Club
Another fine location to smoke cigar is The Carnegie Club. A cosy setting perfect for enjoying a cigar and unwind from the day. Their menu carries limited selection of cigars and on the pricey range. Of all the places, I love the decor of this place the most.
