Out of curiosity, I bought a box of Great Wall Flouring Age VI (长城盛世六号) when I passed by a tabacconist. They didn’t specialize in cigars and this was the only option going for 100RMB (About US$15). It may have sat in the glass cabinet for years as the box coloring showed slight fading.
The cigar is relatively harsh and leathery with some hints of floral. The draw and construction was relatively good. For US$3 per stick, I’d say it is a valued cigar. It certainly can’t compare with a US$5-$10 cuban cigar in terms of aroma and flavor, but there is some charm to it which would be subjective preference. I’m very curious to try their bigger (better) cigars, that have online pricing of US$20+ per stick.
